•Dual port mode

In dual port mode, the storage sled SAS expander board supports 12 x 2.5

or 3.5-inch SAS hard-drives from a dual-cable connection.

The figure below shows a dual path connection from a dual-HBA compute

sled connected to the storage sled’s external mini-SAS A1 and B1

connectors. This mode delivers dual path functionality and redundant

path capability.
