1. Follow the instructions in "Preparing to Work Inside the Computer."

2. Remove the keyboard.

3. Remove the palm rest.

4. Remove the microprocessor thermal-cooling assembly.

5. Pull straight up on the fan cable connector from the system board connector.



6. Remove the two M2.5 x 8-mm screws from the fan, and pull the fan away from the system board.
