Installing the Heat Sink

1. Place the heat sink into its original position on the system board.

2. Tighten the screws that secure the heat sink to the system board.

3. Install :

a) system fan

b) battery

c) base cover

4. Follow the procedures in

After Working Inside Your Computer.

Removing the Memory

1. Follow the procedures in

Before Working Inside Your Computer

2. Remove:

a) base cover

b) battery

c) system fan

d) heat sink

3. Pry the securing clips away from the memory module until it pops up. Remove the memory module from its

connector on the system board.
