Air Baffle

Removing the Air Baffle

CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You

product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and

support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not

covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with

the product.

1 Remove the system-board assembly. See “Removing a System-Board

Assembly" on page 170.

2 When removing the air baffle for 2U node, the expansion-card

assembly for 2U node must be removed first. See Figure 3-25.

3 Press the four latches along the direction of the arrows, and then lift

the air baffle out of the system-board assembly. See Figure 3-16.
